Chickens

It was so fun tonight, Momma was on the phone and I got to chase the chickens when no one was watching. It was alot of fun! I caught one but her got away when Momma started yelling at me.

Lake Michigan Sunsets

Hi

We are enjoying another beautiful sunset at Lake Michigan even watched a freighter going by. I walked on the beach with Daddy while Sophie syayed in the car with Grandma and Momma.  I had fun though there were a lot of people and best of all sea gulls every where.

Home

Only a few hours and Momma will come get me. I know she missed me something awful. We don't like being apart from each other this long. Soon, I am trying to sleep so it will seem quicker

Camp

Daddy and Mommy went to Alaska and I went to summer camp. Doesn't seem very fair. I love to travel and I am three now and Sophie is 14 she got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Peavey I just know they are spoiling her. 

The people here at camp are very nice and I get a furry baby ice cream cone for a bed time snack. 

Chicken Momma

Mommie and Daddy bought Grandma and I some baby chicks. I love to watch them but they are saying I am to heavy to hold very long.

Questionable

Momma had a gentleman come up to her at the spring we were visiting. He asked if he could take a picture of her front. Unsure what he meant she was a little confused. Not sure to be flattered or repelled. Then daddy explained he liked her shirt. 

Heading back north

We are heading north slowly. We hate to leave the swamps and the beauty but have responsibilities at home. We are going slowly but moving that way but have a few stops to make along the way.  

It's a beautiful day here in the sunny south.

Today we went hunting for real but with a camera. 

Sophie told me to go closer but I stayed back like they told me to. 

Skunk man headquarters again

We couldn't get into area we wanted last night so we went back to Skunk Ape headquarters. Love that place!!!

Today's outing

Momma, Grandma and Daddy went on a mile boardwalk into the swamp quess it was beautiful but I didn't get to go because of gators. 

Grandma was cold but it was only windy. 

Momma loves the temps we are having.

I am so tired tonight. We have visited visitor centers today and saw manatees, alligators and all kinds of pretty birds. Its been a good day, now time for a nap when Momma, Grandma and Daddy eat dinner.

Our new campsite

We are in a quant little camp that so happens to be behind the Skunk Ape Research Center I am happy but Robin wasn't to sure about it when I told him about it. He made the reservations and found the place. I had nothing to do with it. 

We are on the outside of the Everglades National Park. Our door is 5 feet from the swamp. Awesome but we are being extra careful with the dogs. Gator and snake bate is no joke here.

Great blue Heron and snake

We missed a perfect Kodac moment today a blue heron standing  beside the road with a snake in its mouth. Of course no camera anywhere in sight. The drains and cannels are running deep due to all the heavy rains. It makes it nice for the birds because then the fish come through the side ditches making it easier for them to catch.

We saw a sea turtle that washed ashore unfortuntly he was dead very sad. Later we saw a turtle he was larger and diffently alive and moving quite fast for a turtle.

A new friend

i made a new friend today but when I went to sniff him he flew away. Not very friendly if you ask me!

Mantees

We didn't see any yet but we are looking we are at Estro Florida tonight. A beautiful day enjoyong the ocean and picking up shells. It was in the 80's today with a nice breeze very nice.

Uncle Donald and Aunt Doris

It was nice visiting with Uncle Donald and Aunt Doris we went to church with them Sunday morning and had dinner with them a few times. It was nice visiting a good time was had by all except Sophie and I who had to stay home.

Wall Spring

Another fun adventure. Found a beautiful county park with some nice walking paths.

Another night on the beautiful Gulf. No sunset tonight clouded over but it was so beautiful that was ok. Perfect weather, good company, good food does life get better than this?
